About the Author

Hi there. You can call me Jay. I am a long-time writer with a passion for genre fiction, especially fantasy of all types and science fiction (cyberpunk in particular). I am also a non-binary butch lesbian (they/them pronouns, please), and I care deeply about diversity in fiction. I graduated summa cum laude from Columbia College Chicago in 2014 with a degree in Fiction Writing and a minor in Writing for Television. If I’m not writing my personal fiction, I’m watching great television shows, playing a slew of video games, and partaking in a Dungeons & Dragons campaign or two (or five).
